“When can we say our Spiritual life has begun?” – A student asked me this question.

This is my answer.
The Spiritual life does not begin with going to temples or with ritualistic worship.
It does not begin with wearing saffron clothes or Rudrakshas (prayer beads).
The Spiritual life does not begin even when you join a Spiritual Path and take up meditations. All these are spiritual pursuits, no doubt.
Some meditators even after many years of meditations get angry and behave like ordinary people. So, just taking up Meditations does not automatically imply that our Spiritual life has begun.
Our Spiritual journey begins only when we begin manifesting love.
Only when we truly begin manifesting love, we can manifest the Divine. Unless we know the Divine by direct experience, we cannot manifest the Divine.
Without manifesting the Divine, our Spiritual journey does not begin, and we cannot consider ourselves Spiritual. So, our Spiritual life begins when we learn to manifest the Divine and truly manifest unconditional love all the time.

Oneness

A Spiritual seeker asked me, “What is Oneness?”

I answered as follows:

It begins with the awareness that we the human beings, all animate and inanimate beings, nature, stars, galaxies and everything else are one. We are all made of the same Consciousness.

The next step is to experience the Oneness. Unless we experience it, we will not know what it really means. Since it is not easy for everyone to experience Oneness, it must be practised gradually. You can begin by practising Oneness with a small group such as your classmates or colleagues, and gradually expand it to the whole world.

When we experience Oneness we will never go against the Divine Plan. We also receive Divine Energies and true knowledge.

The turmoil that we see in the world today is only at the surface level. At the deeper level there is stillness. When we practise Oneness, we experience this stillness.

When we experience Oneness, we experience and manifest love automatically without any effort.

Here is a technique that may help you in experiencing Oneness:

Imagine you are a small globe of White Light. Experience the Light for a few minutes. Then, imagine those around you and your associates to be small globes of Light and experience them. Next, imagine all other human beings and everything else in Creation as Light. Experience the Light for several minutes. Practise it for as long as possible.

Experiencing Light

A student once asked me, “What is preventing us from experiencing Light?”

I want to ask you the same question. What is preventing you from experiencing Light?

Is it lethargy? Or indifference? Or not having a clear goal?

It varies from individual to individual. In some cases there is no conviction about Light. If you experience Light you will reach the highest, spiritually. A lack of conviction about this comes in the way of experiencing Light. Without conviction, we cannot make sincere efforts.

Not many take spirituality seriously. You should never take this as a kind of pastime. This is our life. It is only when we take up spirituality seriously we understand so many things, the realities, the truths.

It is only when we grow spiritually, we can easily find solutions to all our problems. This is no exaggeration. All our problems find solutions when we take up Spiritual life. And we have to take it seriously. It is not merely listening to spiritual discourse and enjoying it. We must actually put what we learn into practice and truly become spiritual.

Samadhi

Guruji Krishnananda – on Samadhi

A meditator asked me, “During Meditation, there was blankness at first, followed by a burst of energies entering me from all sides. I felt expanded. Is this Samadhi?”

My answer:

This is the beginning of Samadhi, not the total Samadhi. Even total Samadhi is the beginning of our Spiritual journey.

After the beginning of Samadhi, the blankness or unconsciousness disappears followed by the experience of vastness. Your awareness blossoms and becomes very clear. Gradually, you will be aware of everything simultaneously.

These are very important stages in Samadhi. These states can only be experienced and cannot be described. Even then, we try to explain them to give you an idea of the possibilities.

After your awareness expands, you become aware of the Presence. The Presence is God Himself. You will feel the Presence in the form of Unconditional Love and Peace enveloping you.

You will know by experience that the Presence is infinite, undivided; you will then experience the ultimate Oneness with the entire Creation.

Even this experience is not the end. There is much more.

This knowledge is from the Light Masters who have gone beyond all these experiences. Even after such extraordinary experiences, some of them choose to come to this earth to help and guide us.

They come to our chaotic world to assure us that there is God, there is Love, and there is hope of peace in this world.

Think about these things. Make efforts. Do not worry about the time. Do not hurry. Just contemplating on these realities itself will bring you Spiritual benefits.

Manifesting our Potential

All answers, all solutions, all possibilities and opportunities are within us.

But almost always we look for them outside. Instead, we must look within. We have to manifest all these things from within.

We can manifest solutions, opportunities, answers and even questions. We have to learn to manifest them.

Before we can manifest them, we have to enter a state of stillness. That is why we meditate. With Meditations everything happens. We have to take it up seriously.

When we are in a state of deep stillness, we become aware of the Presence. The Presence is God Himself. We also become aware of what the Presence carries. The Presence carries true love, vastness, oneness, completeness, abundance …

When we experience the Presence and become one with It, we also begin experiencing these qualities. We will know what is true love only when we experience it.

And to manifest the answers, solutions and opportunities, we must intend. Without the intent, nothing is possible. With a strong intent we can manifest all these things.

Importance of stillness

Importance of stillness

All answers, all solutions, all possibilities and opportunities are within us. But we look for these things outside. Instead of exploring outside, we have to look within. We have to find them within us and bring them out, manifest them.

 We have to learn to manifest answers, solutions and even new questions.

 How do we learn to find them within us and manifest them?

 We have to begin by entering a state of stillness. That is why we meditate. With Meditations everything happens. Meditations have to be taken seriously. In stillness we become aware of all these things being within us.

 When we enter stillness, we become aware of many things, the most important thing is that of a Presence. This Presence is God Himself. We also become aware of what the Presence carries.

 We become aware of the vastness, unconditional love and oneness. Not only do we become aware of these things, we begin to experience the Presence and all that the Presence carries; we experience true love, we become one.

 After experiencing all these, we have to manifest them with a strong intent and conscious effort.

 You have to contemplate on these things. This is what regular and intense Meditations lead to.

Success

Someone asked me, “How do you define success?”

This is how I answered.

It depends on the individual. Some consider accumulating wealth or achieving other similar goal as the criteria for being successful in life.

For me, success is balancing both the material and the Spiritual.

For me, success is progressing spiritually in spite of obstacles, in spite of tests and confusion.

It is not easy to progress spiritually. If a person can do it living in this world, managing both these worlds, I think that person’s life is a successful life.

For me success is aligning with the Light, experiencing the Light and manifesting the Light.

Success is creating peace for ourselves and for this earth. We can create peace if we really want. For me, success is manifesting the life-force and manifesting humanness.

Power of Intent

Power of Intent

 A person wanted to meet me and ask me a few questions, but it was not possible. He was desperate to know the answers. At night he had a dream. In the dream he came to me and met me. He remembers sitting before me and all the other details. He asked the questions and I replied to him. He even remembers the replies after waking up. How is this possible?

Since he needed the answers and he wanted to talk to me desperately, he came to me astrally and spoke to me. There are very strange and unknown processes. Normally, it is difficult to remember dreams and Astral experiences. But he could clearly remember the answers to his questions.

He could come because he had a strong intent. Also, there is a Higher Intelligence that helped him get the answers to his questions.

With a strong intent anything is possible. If you have a pure and strong intent, you can contact the Light Masters. We can achieve anything with such a strong intent.

The Core Teachings of Light Masters

The Core Teachings 

Someone once asked me, “What are the core teachings of the Light Masters (Rishis)?”

Their core teachings are, manifest love, manifest purity, manifest honesty and peace, and most importantly, manifest the life-force. There is abundant life-force around us, which we have to manifest in our day-to-day living. 

The other main teachings are, meditate and positivise your emotions and thoughts. Live a balanced life between the material and the Spiritual. Be aware that we are entering the Light Age. During this transition, there will be a Shift in Consciousness. Certain events will occur; we have to face their effects. To go through these events, we can only prepare spiritually. Preparation at the physical level will not help.

 The Light Masters exist in different worlds and they are ever ready to guide us and help us in every way. All of us have to establish contact with them. Each one of us is capable of doing so.

 They also say that Light is our Source, Light is our means and Light is our goal. We must know all about Light and experience Light.

 We have come down to this earth to experience the life here. After experiencing it sufficiently we have to go back to our Source, which is our Spiritual goal. We do reincarnate. We reincarnate to clear our Karmas that we have accumulated in the past.

 We are all one. All the human beings on this earth are one. We are individually responsible for the welfare of everyone else. What affects others anywhere in the world will affect us somehow. We must experience Oneness and we have to feel responsible for the state of the world.

Experiencing Light

A Spiritual aspirant asked me, “In spite of long Meditations I am unable to experience Light. Why?”

My answer: -
I can answer this question, but first I want you to find out by yourself why you are unable to experience the Light.
In fact, each one of you must find out why you are unable to experience Light (if you are unable to that is). Just meditating for hours, practising the technique mechanically will not help.

What about love?

If you have unconditional love in your core, you will experience Light immediately. You may carry love to some extent, but that is not enough.
Ask yourself how much of love you manifest everyday in your life. Go to your core and find out whether you are really living a proper Spiritual life.
Do you have negativities, hatred piled up in your core? If we have such strong negativities and we don’t want to give them up, we don’t manifest love, we don’t manifest the Spiritual after so many years of Spiritual seeking, how do you expect to experience the Light?
Each individual is different. Each person has their own reasons for not experiencing Light. Introspect and find out by yourself why you can’t.
When you understand it, if you need help to deal with it, come to me. I am here always.

Is liberation a one-time process?

Is liberation a one-time process?

An aspirant on the spiritual path wanted to know if liberation is a one-time process.

This is how I answered:

 No, it is not. It is a continuous process. It is a huge and long process.

To begin with, we have to get liberated from our own negative emotions and thoughts; we have to get rid of our prejudices. It may not seem easy. Liberation begins from within. We must allow it to continue.

Liberation from our own lower emotions and thoughts is possible when we try to live at a higher level. The horizontal life here is imperfect. There is imperfection everywhere. We are imperfect. There are shortcomings in us and in others. Even as we are aware of all this, we have to live at a higher level. Only then we can get liberated from the lower emotions and thoughts.

Once we reach a higher level, we have to try to reach a still higher level to get liberated from the present level. There are many levels. Like the steps on a stairway, we can reach a higher step only when we leave a lower step.

In my opinion, liberation is a very easy process, though most people think it is very difficult. I see this happening in people around me. When they are in a situation that they cannot change, they choose to accept it. Such acceptance brings liberation.

When you carry Light with you always, you need not fear anything. Accept Light. Light is God. God is with us.

Getting liberated from one level to a higher level, we ultimately reach God or Light, call Him by any name. We can then say we have reached the Final Liberation.

If you want to achieve this, you must attempt it sincerely and seriously and not superficially. And when you get liberated, you will be living in such a wonderful and beautiful state, you will be experiencing God all the time.
