Oneness

Oneness
(Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)
A student asked me, “In these advanced times which single factor indicates Spiritual progress?”
My answer is, Oneness. We already know at the intellectual level that we are all one. This is not enough. We must experience Oneness with those near us as well as the entire life on this earth. We must eventually experience Oneness with the entire Creation.
Is it really possible to experience such Oneness? I say, it is possible. We have to try it. At least we must try to experience Oneness with our family, friends and other associates. We may have to try very hard.
If you make sincere efforts, you will notice that love begins to flow. It is then we trust each other and smile from our hearts. This is the least we can do. If we cannot do this, how can we say that we have progressed?
People tell me that they have meditated for 10 or 20 years. If you believe that you have progressed spiritually, then ask yourself this. “Am I experiencing Oneness?” If you are, then all your effort is worth it.
When I see that people are unable to experience Oneness in spite of all the years of meditations, I feel very sad. Unless you experience Oneness, how can you be the guiding Light to others?
Here is a technique that may help you in experiencing Oneness:

Imagine you are a small globe of White Light. Experience the Light for a few minutes. Then, imagine those around you and your associates to be small globes of Light and experience them. Next, imagine all other human beings and everything else in Creation as Light. Experience the Light for several minutes. Practise it for as long as possible.

Beginning our Spiritual Journeys

Beginning our Spiritual Journeys
(Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)
I was asked this question, “Am I ready for the Spiritual life? How do we begin our Spiritual life?”
My answer was as follows.
Guruji Krishnananda
Guruji Krishnananda
The very fact that you are asking this question indicates that you are ready for the Spiritual life. The truth is, everyone is ready for it, but they are not aware of it.
And even if they become aware of it, they somehow go on postponing it.
“How do we begin our Spiritual life?”
There are many ways to make a beginning.
We can begin by taking up Meditation, or we can begin by positivising.
When we positivise, we do it at the levels of our thoughts, emotions and deeds all the time, for our entire lives.
We can begin our Spiritual life by practising Humility.
Humility is very, very important for our Spiritual journey. In fact, without humility, we cannot make any spiritual progress at all.
We can also begin by manifesting love and respecting others. Or, we can begin by experiencing Oneness with everyone.
The interesting thing is, if you make a beginning with any one of them, you will soon realize that you are practising all of them. For example, if you begin Meditations, you will become humble. If you begin with humility, you will naturally begin loving others.
And when you experience unconditional love, you will experience oneness with everyone and everything, and you will become humble naturally.
All the Spiritual ways are connected. You can choose any way and practise it sincerely, and you will progress spiritually.

Suffering and Spiritual Progress

Suffering and Spiritual Progress – (Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)
“Is suffering absolutely necessary for our Spiritual progress?”
I have been asked this question many times by Spiritual aspirants.
No, suffering is not absolutely required. We can progress spiritually without suffering.
But suffering helps in many ways.
When we suffer, we learn to put down our egos and understand how to be humble.
Through our suffering, we can understand the pains and problems of others, and develop compassion. It also increases our level of endurance.
We suffer when we don’t find solutions to our problems at the physical level. So, we try to deal with life from a higher level.
Suffering helps us turn inward, which is very important for Spiritual Progress.
When we turn inward, we introspect and let go of our superficial activities. We tend to give up our superficial relationships and retain only deep and meaningful ones.
Turning inward helps us experience solitude, which helps in our awakening.
Suffering drives us towards spirituality and it really helps in spiritualising.

But that does not mean we cannot grow spiritually without suffering. It is not absolutely necessary.

Eclipses & Meditation (Triple eclipses in April and May 2013)

Triple eclipses in April and May 2013
Every Eclipse is a very important phenomenon. There are many Spiritual energies released during the Eclipse period. Meditations are the best way to receive these energies. Maharshi Amara once stated that meditating during the eclipse period will bring benefits equivalent to six months of regular Meditations. Eclipse energies help mankind progress towards the Light Age and impact every aspect of human life at the global as well as personal level.
The effect of an eclipse starts 48 days prior, increases towards the eclipse, peaks and wanes over the next 48 days.
Twin eclipses and triple eclipses amplify the effect.
In 2008, we received a lot of new metaphysical knowledge from Guruji on eclipses. The discussion has been presented as a narrative in the iGuruji article titled – ECLIPSES. To read, kindly follow this link –http://www.lightagemasters.com/member/template1.php
A set of three eclipses are due in April and May 2013. The timings are as follows:
25th April, 2013 Thursday – Lunar Eclipse. Timing – 11:33pm to 3:41am of 26th April (IST).
11th May, 2013 Saturday – Solar Eclipse. Timing – 2:55am to 8:55am (IST).
25th May, 2013 Saturday – Lunar Eclipse. Timing – 9:23am to 9:56am (IST).
Let us meditate or channel Light during this period and progress Spiritually.
Note – Tonight (25th April, 2013 Thursday) there is a Lunar Eclipse from 11:33pm to 3:41am of 26th April (IST). It is first of the three eclipses, other two are due on 11th and 25th of May 2013
