Awaken to many Realities – by Guruji Krishnananda
(Source – From Book – Guruji Speaks Volume 5)
We have to awaken to many Truths, many Realities. We have to awaken from ignorance. Sometimes people say that in Hinduism there are so many gods. All these gods do exist. Lord Mahavishnu is in-charge of Life and Life Forces. Lord Shiva is in-charge of the forces of destruction. Lord Brahma is in-charge of creation. And hordes of gods assist these processes.
All gods/deities are manifestations from a single God. There is one God. And here, on this earth, we can imagine Him to be Light. And from that Light all these emanations, all these manifestations came forth. God is energy. God is Light. And God is omnipresent. Everyone has to awaken to the Truth that there is only one God and all others are manifestations.
People have to awaken to the reality that the idols represent gods or deities. A god or deity is energy. The idol carries these energies. Idols are to be worshipped, no doubt, but they themselves are not the deity. Usually, the field of energy is under the ground, beneath the idol. Only a small quantity of energy is present in the idol.
Once we tried to worship Lord Shiva in Nandi Hills. We were told the energies are so huge that the entire hill carries those energies. So, the energies are under the ground and they are the deity, not just the idol.
We have to awaken to the fact that we have to go beyond ritualistic worship or Pooja. Poojas are good, but again we have to go beyond. While performing Pooja we consciously remain distant and distinct from God. When I worship and He gets worshipped, there is duality; there is distance. We have to go beyond this. There are still higher ways of Poojas and worship.
Pooja is a form of expression of our Love and respect. In Meditation, the expression reaches its maximum. We surrender to Him. We merge with Him. That is the highest form of expression of Love.
We are aware of Papa and Punya (merits and demerits). But Punya does not take us to Mukti. A good deed or Karma will give us a good effect, that’s all. Punyas take us only to heaven, not to Mukti. This does not mean that we should not do good deeds but we must know and clearly realize that putting a huge amount in a hundi (donation box) does not help us in attaining Mukti. These are simple Truths. They do not need any explanation.
We cannot appease gods by Shanti Homas or Mantras. Gods do not accept bribes and keep quiet. Most importantly, God is not pleased when we suffer. Some people pierce their tongues and cheeks with needles, etc. Those who do such acts think that God is pleased. God will never appreciate such things. You do not have to suffer. You do not have to even fast to please Him. God is not pleased by these ways.
We must awaken to the reality that God is everywhere, in and around. All that is required is a connection from our pure heart. We have to awaken to this reality. Accept this and begin living accordingly. Interact with God who is everywhere.

Enlightenment

Enlightenment
(Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)
Samadhi is beginning of our Spiritual journey
Samadhi is beginning of our Spiritual jurney
Before we reach the ultimate state of Enlightenment, we go through many stages of awakening.
It begins with the understanding at the intellectual level that we are souls and not these bodies. This understanding may come from reading a book or from some other source.
This understanding may lead to the realisation that we are just visitors to this planet and we are not permanent residents here. We realise that we come from a different Source, which is our true Home, and we have to go back someday. This is another awakening.
When we realise that we are particles of Light, which is God Himself, and that we are here to experience the Creation, it is yet another awakening.
The Creation was brought forth by God with the sole purpose of providing us the opportunities to experience.
The intellectual understanding that we are souls should ultimately lead to the realisation of this Truth by direct experience. We must be able to experience that we are not our body.
That is the beginning of Enlightenment.
Becoming aware of God’s Presence is an important step in Enlightenment. When we become aware of God’s Presence, we love Him and His Creation. We love this earth and everything on it because God created it. This realization is not easy.
When we love God, we should manifest it by loving all of His Creation, which also is not easy for many.
We must realise that life-force is an important factor in Creation and we must manifest it. We bring out life-force when we celebrate life by living life fully. Life-force is what makes us sing, dance and dream. All poetry comes from life-force.
We experience the joy of living when we bring out life-force. This also is a part of the awakening process.
A person on the way to Enlightenment will accept all the imperfections of this world without grumbling, complaining or getting angry. He will always be happy because he lives in Light and is on the way to becoming Light.
Even after Enlightenment (becoming Light), Sadhana continues under the guidance of God Himself. He is the Guru after Enlightenment. We require His guidance forever.

Suffering and Spiritual Progress

Suffering and Spiritual Progress – (Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)
“Is suffering absolutely necessary for our Spiritual progress?”
I have been asked this question many times by Spiritual aspirants.
No, suffering is not absolutely required. We can progress spiritually without suffering.
But suffering helps in many ways.
When we suffer, we learn to put down our egos and understand how to be humble.
Through our suffering, we can understand the pains and problems of others, and develop compassion. It also increases our level of endurance.
We suffer when we don’t find solutions to our problems at the physical level. So, we try to deal with life from a higher level.
Suffering helps us turn inward, which is very important for Spiritual Progress.
When we turn inward, we introspect and let go of our superficial activities. We tend to give up our superficial relationships and retain only deep and meaningful ones.
Turning inward helps us experience solitude, which helps in our awakening.
Suffering drives us towards spirituality and it really helps in spiritualising.

But that does not mean we cannot grow spiritually without suffering. It is not absolutely necessary.

Aura of Photon Belt

We entered the aura of the Photon Belt in 2009, three years before entering the Photon Belt itself. In 2011, someone asked me:

“Are there any changes after we entered the aura of the Photon Belt?”

There are many changes. We have to be alert and attentive to notice them.

A very important change is, good and bad can no longer coexist, either in an individual, in a country or in the world. The true nature of human beings as well as nations is surfacing. We used to tolerate the evil. We cannot tolerate it anymore.

A kind of cleansing and purging is taking place. Environmental changes are hastening. Though there is a lot of violence, there is more peace and more opportunities for peace. The possibility of wars is receding.

Collective voices are gaining strength. People are protesting and revolting against authoritarian regimes for their rights. Political systems are weakening. Democracy appears to have failed.

Let us be more concerned about the changes that are taking place within us and in our families. I notice that, where people can be happy, they somehow choose discord. At the same time, some people are able to make the right choices even when there is discord, and live happily.

The Photon Belt is not just one more energy field. It is the most important energy field. It will bring a lot of changes.

what is ignorance

Ignorance is mainly about ourselves. We think we are the body or the mind. We are not these bodies. We are not the mind. We are not the intellect. We are not what or who we think we are.
We don’t know who we are. We are particles of Light. We are Souls. Many are not aware of this. This is ignorance.
Ignorance is believing that death is the end and we cease to exist after that.
This is not true. Death is a doorway. The body dies and we have a magnificent life after that.
Ignorance is about God, Creation and spirituality.
People normally don’t think about these things much when they have all the comforts of life. They say they don’t believe in God, and endlessly go after material possessions until something jolts them into awakening. Such a wakeup call could be the start of their spiritual journey.
What is Spiritual?
Spirituality is not going to temples or practising some rituals. It is just being good, honest and peaceful at all levels, which is very difficult to accept and believe for most.
Ignorance is about Meditation. People do not know much about the importance of Meditation. Ignorance is about Spiritual laws like the law of Karma, reincarnation, freewill, etc.

Our role during the Shift

Our role during the Shift

The conscience of the ordinary man has been stirred. And there is no going back. The changes that result from the transitory processes are permanent.
What is the role of us, the meditators during these times?
We are required to support these processes.
How to support them?
Very simple – meditate, positivise, reject all that is negative and channel Light. If you can do this, you will be participating in the greatest revolution the earth has ever seen.
In addition to following these, we have to help others do all this. We have to awaken and help others awaken to the present realities, awaken them to their true potential.
Spirituality is growing towards perfection. This includes helping others grow towards perfection. To be fully Spiritual, we also have to help others grow.
We have to share everything with others, whether it is material wealth, Spiritual wealth, energies, knowledge or hope. This is a Spiritual law.
We have to manifest love, and help others manifest love.
We must realize that if we do not awaken and participate in the work, the world will not wait for us and we will miss the opportunity.
